"Neurose" klingt zynisch

Es ist leider ganz ernst gemeint. Ich habe den Eindruck (wie auch beim CFS), dass nicht nur gegen Ärzte, sondern auch Patienten(-organisationen) regelrecht gehetzt wird ("lyme advocates", "thread to public health", "militant activists", "antiscience" etc.).
